I'm a Mom, Health Coach, Content Creator and Podcast Host of the Healthy Style Podcast  (yep, I wear a lot of hats!)

I have been on a long journey to find the healthiest, happiest and balanced self.  I'm still on the journey but I have come along way. I am passionate about simplifying health and yoga practices and making it accessible, fun and simple for today’s modern mind and lifestyle.

ABOUT ME

I work with people who feel overwhelmed and who don’t know where to start when it comes to getting their life and health on track. I support them to live healthy and feel whole via some of my favorite tools – planning, having solid routines and creating a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits their unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals – all in a practical and pragmatic way.

​After doing my first yoga class in my early twenties, I have have experienced first hand the profound mind-body connection and was hooked and got certified to teach yoga at 24.  I healed myself from negative eating patterns, anxiety and depression through natural methods.  All of this self work led me to become a Health Coach in 2015 through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and starting my coaching practice.

As your coach I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness.  It simply means we will look at how all areas of your life are connected, because health extends far beyond the foods that fill our plate.  Does stress at work or at home cause you to overeat?  Maybe you don't get enough sleep, so you don't have the energy to work out.  Together we will look how all these areas work together, and how we can create more harmony.  As a health coach, we will not only look into your eating and exercise habits, we will also look into your self-talk, mindset, self-image, relationships, home, and work.  All these areas impact your health!!

I received my nutrition and coaching training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods with some of the worlds leading experts in the health industry. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized action plan based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, and resources.

Mostly plant based, but I don't label my eating habits - you don't have to either!

I eat intuitively (after many years of dieting/restricting. 

I also focus on my primary foods - feeding my life with healthy relationships, career I love, physical exercise and spirituality.  I teach this to all of my clients and it helps with reducing stress around food.

  • A little about me..

I was born and raised in Slovakia. 

I competed in Ballroom and Latin dance since I was 6 until 11.  My family moved to the US when I was 12.  I didn't know 1 word in English!!

  • I love to travel.

I love exploring our beautiful Mama Earth.. some of my fav places I have visited are Thailand, Sri Lanka, Barcelona, Ibiza, Cyprus, Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Germany, Paris, Turks & Caicos, LA, Vegas, Florida, NY, NJ + Slovakia of course!!

MY APPROACH

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.

My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.

 

Together we’ll work to reach your health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, and maximizing energy. As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.

Bio-individuality™:

The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has unique food and lifestyle needs. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. Working on the principle of bio-individuality, I’ll support you to make positive changes that are based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and ancestral background. I use a personalized, holistic approach to ensure that you will have great success!

Primary Food™: 

It’s easy to overlook all of the things that contribute to our sense of nourishment and fulfillment. It’s not just the food we eat, but all of the other factors present in our daily lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual awareness are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. I will support you in achieving all of your goals, from eating the right foods for your body to living an inspired, fulfilling life.

The Integrative Nutrition Plate emphasizes the importance of local and organic produce, whole grains, high-quality proteins, plant-based fats, and water. It shows you how a plate should appear at mealtime and emphasizes the importance of proportions and portion size. To complete the picture, the plate is surrounded with lifestyle factors that create optimal health: relationship, career, physical activity and spirituality. I’ll introduce you to some of the healthiest foods on the planet and teach you how to find what’s healthiest for your unique body!
